Match report   Tough game against a team unbeaten for 21 games but they'll know theyve been in game today. The worst possible start saw 'Ford 1-0 down after 60 seconds after a clever shot from Taddy managed to chip the FFC keeper. A strong performance from the visitors in the first half but 'Ford were still in the game at half time and they'd done enough to stay in the game.

But if the start to the first half was bad, a similar start to the second half left FFC with an uphill struggle at 2 nil. However, a change to 4-42 paid dividends and the half was largely dominated by 'Ford. Breaaks from the returning Dempsey and Penrose drew great saves from the Taddy keeper; even when beaten the last ditch defence were there to clear. With 2o minutes to go a stone-wall penalty was missed by the referee and we got the feeling it was just not going to be our day. However with 5 minutes to go a clumsy challenge in the box resulted in a penalty which Sam converted to take the score to 2-1. Alas there wasnt time to score again for what would have been a well earned draw.

Although beaten by a good side the 'Ford squad gave 100% today and need to take the many positives from the game to Ouseburn next week.

Strong performances in midfield from Sam and Finn, with Sam taking the MoM award after a casting vote from Browsey!
