Match report	The friendly. This was Déjà vu, once again Pickering Town were putting the Foxes under pressure. Hannah Montana found herself in space 1minute in and coolly slotted home. This time Emily could not afford to fall asleep on the goaline. The Foxes soon though got back into their stride. Sandy, Elle, and Sophie G were defending well and Maisie and Beth R were beginning to win more possession in midfield and find their passes. Sofia having been released from her goalkeeping duties was once again putting in a fine display and Georgie was putting in some great runs in behind the Pickering defence. The Foxes were easily matching a very good Pickering team, but just before halftime, Hannah found herself again in space and again slotted home. 2-0 to Pickering Town. 2nd half underway and Laura and Josie came on for Georgie and Sofia. The Foxes put on an excellent 2nd half display but despite some great surging runs from Beth R and Maisie in midfield and good link up play from Laura and Josie up front, they just couldn’t find the key to unlock the Pickering defence. Game over 2-0 to Pickering, but fine display by the Foxes who more than matched their opponents for large parts of the game. Girl of the Game: Beth Robinson – Worked tirelessly in midfield, passed the ball well and went on some great runs.
