Match report	A match where the final score hides the fact that we dominated large parts of the game. The sides went in 0-0 at half time, Bishopthorpe having had one shot (saved by Jake) whilst Fulford created a whole host of chances and displayed some attractive passing football. A packed defence and some good saves kept Bishopthorpe in the game. For H2, Damian, Andrew and Thomas were replaced by Henry, Jordan and Ethan. As Andy and I commented before the game, it's great to have three players of that quality sitting on our bench! Bishopthorpe came out strongly in the second half and took advantage twice in minute as our team adjusted to the new personnel. Jake also made a number of vital saves. The team battled strongly and pulled a goal back via a long distance opportunistic lob from ALFIE - a great goal! Although we lost, there were a lot of positives, including players understanding and doing their jobs, and unselfish passing - the key things that we focused on improving during the second half of the season as U9's. ALFIE was Man of the Match for his strong all round performance in midfield and his spectacular goal.
