Match report	Having played Poppleton in a tight friendly at the start of the season, Fulford had reason to be confident going into this match. Playing against the slope and wind in the first half, the Falcons were pegged back early on and never recovered. Some sloppy defending across the back line and midfield allowed Poppleton to build up a 4-0 half time lead. Changes were made at half time and whilst Fulford now had the advantage of the slope and wind, they were unable to test the home goalkeeper. On the positive side, no more goals were conceded and the girls played better in the 2nd half. Jemma played fantastically well throughout the game, making numerous challenges and playing some lovely through balls to the strikers in the 2nd half. Hopefullly this was just a blip by the Falcons, as they are a better team than this, and we can get back on track in our next home match versus RI.
