Match report   This was a tough match, for which Fulford had to be at their best to win.

It looked as though Fulford were set to go 1-0 up when Paul raced through, but the Wigginton goalkeeper pulled off a brilliant save as he got a hand to the shot and turned it on to the post.

Wigginton went 1-0 up when they won the ball on the left and cut in to score with a neat finish.

However straight from the kick-off Paul and Declan one-two'd their way through the defence for Paul to equalise.

Wigginton re-took the lead when Fulford struggled to clear the ball and the pressure told as the Wigginton striker shot in to the far corner of the net.

In the second half, Fulford got back in the match when Sam won the ball in defence and played it to Paul, who burst through and scored.

Fulford's fourth goal came when Davis won the ball back and Paul raced through to score again.

Joe Murphy was having a great game, first in defence and then midfield. He put in a very strong tackle as Wigginton pushed forward. Such was the force of the tackle, the ball shot up and hit him in the face, but the ball broke to Paul, who surged past the last defender and took his time to slot the ball into the corner. By this point, Joe's nose was pouring with blood and he had to go off and Fulford played out the last couple of minutes a man down, but was soon ok, no doubt, cheered up with some post-match sweets and a much deserved man-of-the-match award!

Many thanks to all at Wigginton for an excellent morning's football and in particular their coaches Simon & Sean for agreeing to play 2 games at 5 a side, and the concern they showed over Joe's nosebleed.
