Match report | It was a tough game for us today with a lot of tired legs from senior games yesterday. We went two down early with Callum scoring possibly the own goal of the season. We gradually started playing our football and a penalty gave Peps the chance to bring us back into the game. Peps then scored twice before half time to put us 3-2 up. They quickly came back into the game after half time though scoring the equaliser just after the break. They then put on huge pressure and had numerous chances to finish us off but rugged defending, some last ditch tackles and a bit of luck kept us in the game. Then we countered as Liam was slipped through on goal, he kept his head in front of goal and slotted cooly into the corner. This proved an unassailable lead despite more chances for Wistow and gave us a well earned victory. |
