Match report | Fulford Report match away v Easingwold 16/09/13 09:19 In what turned out to be a very good game of football, Fulford under 12's played their first game of the season versus a very spirited Easingwold side. Fulford started off very strongly and went ahead in the first minute with a goal from Katie Astle, the game then ebbed and flowed with Fulford playing some lovely football, hitting the bar and the post, and with Easingwolds keeper making some great saves. Easingwold struck back with a goal after 15 minutes, but Fulford responded immediately with substitute Francesca Meadows scoring her first ever league goal for the club. The sides went in at half time with Fulford in a 2-1 lead. The second half was a little more scrappy, and it wasn't until the 26tn minute of the game when Grace Hall swept home Fulfords third goal. Both goalkeepers need to be commended for very very good performances, and the girls thoroughly enjoyed the spirit and atmosphere the game was played in. well done to all |
