Match report	This evening was the highlight of the season as the boys were lucky enough to be invited to York City's Bootham Crescent Stadium to play York City Elite Under 8s. It was a fantastic occasion as the pitch was in perfect condition for good passing football. Fulford started the match very well and put together some great passing moves and Luca & Paul were unlucky to see their shots kept out by a couple of tremendous saves by the York City keeper. York took the lead with a classic counter attack move, and then added to their lead when a cross from the left saw a York midfielder steal in at the back post to make it 2-0. In the 2nd half Fulford were quickly back in the game when Paul cut in down the left and slotted the ball past the keeper from close range. York went on to extend their lead with another well worked counter attacking moves and nearly went further ahead, but for an excellent diving save from Joe. Fulford pulled a goal back when Paul beat a couple of players and slipped the ball through to Nicholas who finished well. Fulford looked like they might get an equaliser, but in the last minute a long range strike hit the crossbar and a York midfielder was first to the rebound to make it 4-2. Jack was Man of the Match for some great tackles in defence and an energy filled performance in centre midfield.
