Match report   In the first match Fulford faced Bishopthorpe. As ever in these fixtures, it was a tight competitive game, with the decisive goal coming when Paul broke past two players down the right and fired in a cross, which found Liam at the back post. Liam's shot was saved but the rebound fell to Jonathan, who scored from close range.

Fulford were straight into their second match and looked a little jaded as they fell behind to two well worked goals from Haxby Blue. The second half was a different story as Fulford swept forward. The first goal came when Paul's through ball found Nicholas who scored with a cool finish. The second came when Luke's excellent pass found Nicholas and he again showed great composure to score. The comeback was rounded off when Paul hit a free kick which went in after a slight deflection.

In the final group match v Easingwold, Fulford needed at least a draw to top the group. Fulford had the best of the first half, but in the last 3 or 4 minutes of the match it was Easingwold who looked most likely to score, but some great tackles from Harle, Jack & Paul kept the scores level.

In the Final, Fulford faced Haxby Blacks. Haxby had the better of the first half as they played some neat passing football. In the second half, the key moment came when Paul won the ball just inside the Haxby half. He glided past the last two defenders and scored from close range past the keeper. Haxby weren't done and threw everything at Fulford to get back in the game. In the last minute a Haxby midfielder hit a long range shot that was looping over Sam in the Fulford goal. Fortunately it hit the underside of the bar and bounced out. It fell to a Haxby Striker, but his first time shot went narrowly over the bar. Moments later the full time whistle blew, which sparked jubilant scenes of celebration amongst the Fulford players.

Many thanks to Lee and all at Haxby for organising a first class football tournament, which raised over £400 for the "Oscar's Legacy" fund.
