Match report | Again the Vikings faced a well organised , physical side with some familiar faces from the first match. Brooklyn played a very similar style, pinning the Vikings back in their half and cutting off the supply to the strikers. When Annabel and Oliver in the first half and Oliver and Jordan in the second half did get the ball forward, Brooklyn to their credit, were always ready in defence with at least two defenders ready to put in tackles to thwart our attacks. Brooklyn had gone into a 2: 0 lead before Alex was provided with a great ball from Annabel but he was heavily fouled and after some hesitation the referee gave a penalty which Alex put away well. Brooklyn then scored a further two goals despite Eddie making some great saves in goal. The goal of the morning came from Jordan who ran on from a terrific through ball from Oliver to finish brilliantly in the bottom corner. Going into the break 4:2 down meant the Vikings had to push up, battle hard and do a lot of running. Every player put in their utmost to try and get back into the game and the tackling and tracking back was admirable. The Vikings started to create some chances and with a bit more luck on the day may have got a few goals back. Jack did very well in goal and Brooklyn were limited to one goal in the second half.
