| Match report | The Ebors dominated their second game with great displays from all the players. Euan continued his impressive morning marshalling his solid defence of Harrison and Clem and he made an amazing finger- tip save late in the first half which most players and referee were unaware of. Tilly and Adi worked well together in attack hunting down goal kicks and any loose balls. This paid off in the first half as the Ebors went into the break 5 0 up, built on the back of great defensive displays by Harrison and Clem who worked very well together. Harrison scored with a long range shot and Adi hit a rapid hat trick, one of which was a solo effort where he picked up the ball near the corner flag, dribbled past two defenders and rifled the ball home. His third was from a great cross by Tilly, which Adi just had to get a touch on. Haxby were stunned and Tilly wrapped up a great first half picking up a loose ball on the half way line, powering forward and giving the goalie no chance with good shot. The second half saw Tilly go in goal, Euan and Harry Lewis in defence with Alex and Adi up front. The Ebors scored a further three well worked team goals, two from Alex and number four for Adi. At this point all the Ebors wanted to get on the score sheet and they launched successive attacks but time and time again the Haxby keeper made fantastic saves to deny Ebors a double figure victory. To keep a clean sheet is always impressive, never mind how many goals the team score, so special praise for this game goes to Harry who tackled well, played some great through balls and put the ball out of danger when needed.
