Match report	A brave Viking performance on an increasingly slow and muddy pitch. Unlucky to lose this one - maybe a different story if we had managed to put the earlier chances away. A stronger Magnet side which passed the ball well and who also took their chances. Barnaby in goal for this one who had to be sharp and alert. Thwarting quite a few attacks with being quick off his line. Cameron was soon on the score sheet after a fine assist from Oliver. More attacks from the Vikings came but just couldn't find the back of the net. The Magnets pressed as well in a quite open game and soon converted two chances into two goals. 2-1 at half time but by no means out of the game. The Vikings continued to press and had the added advantage of the downhill slope! Chance after chance came and then finally Reuben stepped up to level the scores after a great assist from Adi. The Vikings looked to have the upper hand in this game but the Magnets had other ideas. With three quick successive attacks scored three really quick goals. With no time for a comeback and the Magnet goal still evading our attacks the score finished a disappointing 5-2 but a great game and performance from our Vikings. Player of the Match was Cameron who scored a goal, got into positions to score more and never gave up!!
