Match report   Fulford started brightly and made light work of the heavy pitch and their lack of substitutes as they opened the scoring through Jack, who operating on the right wing beat his covering defender and drilled a low shot past the keeper into the corner of the goal. The defensive partnership of Christopher and Grace remained solid throughout and limited the opposition to playing long balls over the top and when they did Euan in goal was ready, rushing off his line to thwart a number Tadcaster attacks. Despite this great defensive work the Tadcaster pressure finally told as they grabbed their opportunity scoring 2 quick goals to take a narrow half time lead.
Attacking down the slope in the second half Fulford began to exert more pressure but despite this it was Tadcaster who extended their lead with another well taken goal. Fulford then reduced the deficit, Harrison who never stopped running beat two men on the left and cut inside to find Alex who raced past the defender on the edge of the box and calmly stroked the ball home. Tadcaster once again hit back to make it 4 -2, Fulford refused to give up however and were soon back in the game Alex picking the ball up on the right before delivering the perfect cross to William who effortlessly side footed the ball home. 4 - 3 then became 4 - 4 as another great Fulford move was finished once again by Alex. With the game looking all but finished Tadcaster mustered another attack breaking Fulford's defensive line where Euan made a great save from the first shot but was unlucky to see it rebound to another Tadcaster player who made no mistake with the follow up. With all eyes on the referee it looked certain as there would be no time to reply but the Fulford forward line had other ideas as direct from the kick off the ball was played out to Jack who sprinted forward and thundered his shot high into the roof of the net to tie the game. This time there was no time to reply as the final whistle went on a thoroughly entertaining game.
Player of the match: Harrison , another strong and tireless performance on the left of midfield.
