| Match report | A fantastic team performance by the Vikings. Cameron had a very quiet time in goal as the Vikings dominated both halves. We passed the ball really well giving Tadcaster hardly any chance to threaten. Oliver was in fine form with his corner kicks setting up Tilly twice to score. Oliver then scored direct from a free kick with a super strike. Another fine passing move from the Vikings found Tilly who was then able to power through and score. Freddie, up front, was a big threat, unlucky to not score but was brilliant with his assists. 4-0 at half time. The Vikings continued in the same manor in the second half. A few role reversals brought Annabel, Daniel and Oisin into play. Daniel was excellent on the left finding Oliver with a defence splitting pass. Oliver latched onto the pass and scored. Oisin on the right was a menace with his dribbling skills. A fine solo goal but should have had two goals credited in the end - an unstoppable top corner shot only to be disallowed by an encroaching ball from the other game!! Sorry Oisin :-( Adi worked hard all game and finally got his deserved goal. Annabel was fantastic in midfield with some great dribbling and passing. Oliver sealed off a emphatic win with one more goal. Two hat tricks and 8 goals in the end - 8-0 it finished. Player of the Match was Daniel who initially was great in defence but then fantastic on the left with some great passing! |
