Match report	A tough, well fought game of football against two great teams. The Vikings started on the back foot with York RI coming out strong with some precise passing. But the defence of Oisin and Reuben held strong plus backed up with Cameron in goal. The Vikings soon got into their groove and a defence splitting pass from Reuben found Eddie who finished it well. 1-0 at half-time. The second half was again exciting with both sides looking dangerous. Unfortunately York RI struck first and it was 1-1. With the Vikings and York RI going for a win it was quite an open game as both teams had plenty of chances. York RI got their break though to make it 2-1. The Vikings pushed right to the end, Barnaby and Adi going close but the game finished 2-1 to York RI. A draw I think would have been a fairer result! Player of the match was Reuben - great passing today plus covered lots of ground, worked really hard!
