| Match report | Lost again today but we think the turning point has come and our grueling run of playing top of the league teams has come to an end, with the exception of pock coming up. Pickering were without thier top man today, and we hoped to take advantage of that but they are good as a side. It was a very evan game and to sum it up we didnt take our chances in the first half of the game when we had the wind. The lads played well Pickering took the lead but we responded with an equalizer through Oli C. Ben played a great game and is growing all the time in confidence as a keeper. Our defence was unchanged with James Guy Frankie and Cameron along with David pluggin the gaps behind them, it was a good performance from them. Midfeild likewise battled and did some good running we only had one sub today and Dan came on for Oli C who took a knock, he later replaced Seth who got kicked in the Knee, Arron and George were in the thick of it. With Oli B up front, Pickering came out in the second half with the wind and 1-1 went to 3-1 David pulled one back with another great knock from him. But alas there was not enough time had we had another 10 mins we would have got the draw im sure. The main thing is they are starting to play team football these games have been tough and i hope the run in to the end of season is kind to us we will be without George and Frankie over easter and proberbly others. |
