Match report	So it wasn’t to be! The girls had performed magnificently all season and this was just one of those occasions where we just weren’t up to the pace of the game. We fought bravely right up to the final whistle and all in all even although this ended up in defeat, I’m very pleased to see that the girls celebrated being runners up as this was very much a celebration of all the success we’ve had this season. Runners up in the cup and now looking like we’ll finish runners up in the League, with Dunnington doing us a favour against Pickering last night. That’s definite progress and you call all be very proud of your achievements. I’m certain we can take it one step further next season! I don’t think there’s any argument about the girl of the game. That definitely goes to Sofia. A string of magnificent saves, which kept the scoreline just about respectable!
