Match report   This was more like it a flying start to the season, and a win in the bag cant be bad for confidence of the team and the coaches.
We started off with a defensive formation and tinkered with positions, we quickly established a domininace and maintained it right through the game. First half we played against a very strong wind thinking we would benefit in the 2nd half as always the wind changed direction and we played against it for 80 mins
In addition there was a biblical rain storm for approx 60 mins of the game.

So we had a bit to do really, the other team had a decent goalie and he kept them in it although we did make it easy for him and we missed a netful of oppertunities or drove it down the keepers throat. if we had scored 14 we still could have wasted about another 14 oppertunities we were attacking the goal that much.

I cant think of a single player in the squad who didnt have a chance at goal during the game, pause for thought there we need to practice our finishing.

Having said that the lads played fantastic and it was great to watch.

Ben didnt have much to do. Ross, Guy Chris and Cameron held a tight line in the first half and kept any form of attack out, David started in a sweeper role although quickly moved up field when we realised we could dominate things.
George and Arron and Frankie took the rest of midfield and were into their back four and winning just about everything.

Oli C and Will H took the front and looked like they would score

From the off George, Oli C and will were busying themselves in front of goal and we should have been 3-0 up by 5-10 mins in.

We continued to pepper their goal but it wasnt going in. we swtiched around stuck Oli B in front moved George up fron Oli c Back to mid, continued to pepper the goal still not in the net though Frankie and Aaron and David were by this time all getting in on the action Cameron was running down the left all the way and could have had a goal.

Eventually we were awarded a penalty George finished it well and we were 1-0 in front. We continued to tinker 10 mins rolling subs.

all the the front men and midfeild and defense at times were attacking goal George eventually converted again.

2nd Half it strated to rain really heavy, we put guy in midfeild he shouldve bagged a goal or two, however we realised he does keep things tight at the back and put him back in defence.although we gave him another run out up front later

we dominated right till the end David got our third and deserved it. we couldve genuinely mullered them 10 nil plus today.

All the lads did great, we as a coaching team are very proud of how they performed everyone deserved a mention in this game.

But this weeks player of the match goes to Ross Macleod, as a player he has improved no end and has a great right foot, he is aggressive but not dirty and today he played in a number of positions really well and shouldve got himself a hat trick
