Match report   Back at the Outgang a far superior pitch than the school, its been a while since we came up against Osbladwick, this one played out a bit like a local derby game.

As a team our guys went out to win it being strong and assertive to the ball this brought a certain dominance to the game but initiated some frustration within the Osbladwick team and they were shoving and poking at our lads.

Despit this we too an early lead David Thompson headed towards goal and George made sure it went in 1-0.

Due to a calamity in training last week our shape was somewhat different today with Ross Macleod in the sticks and Ben playing as sub due to a broken finger.

Guy, Chris, Frankie and Cameron were strong at the back and Osbaldwick front man made their life so much easier by constanctly sitting about 3 yards offside.

Midfeild was made up of George, Aaron, David and Will.
Will played out of his skin in the first with a great performance and some key balls into the box, up front was Oli C and Oli B.

As the game took hold as coaches we were confidnet we were going to win this and this soon took hold when Aaron hit a great ball and put it in the net for number 2 our third cam from a great piece of play from our right man Will took hold of the ball he was crowded by osbaldwick he passed it back to Frankie who whipped it in George got hold of it and it was 3-0 David Thompson mad it 4-0 he deserved it again today and was dominant in the midfeild, goerge bagged the 5th for his hatrick and the game was won.

We took our foot of the throttle a little and they upped the anti with the pushing and shoving this started to bug our lads and despite attempts to calm things Oso won a penalty this aggravated some of our defence, but thats football, and they converted it shortly after this a spat broke out between Guy and one of their men, he took a lunge at guy and was lashing him with his feet, thats how it started, we calmed things down.

We lost a bit of shape and they grabbed a gift of a goal

At the end of day we were pleased with all our lads today they stood up to intimidation, and they looked like a football team 2-0ut of 2 and a great start

Man of the match to will for his first half performance oustanding
