Match report   Roll on the next game against these in the true sense of the glass half full attitude, on reflection, and it is often very wise to think things through there was a lot to learn for us with this game.

Learning point 1 Winning streaks always come to an end and can make you complacent.

Learning point 2 There are no easy games ask Chelsea.

Learning point 3 we have been letting in quite a few goals and losing control of periods of games for some time. And were at some point going to throw one away. (lets hope this is the last one).

Learning point 4 play to the whistle, on a number of occasions we thought there was an infringement and stopped playing only for them to nick something.

Summery of the game given those points.

On a whole it was a good and entertaining game for a neutral im sure it would have been a delight to watch.

Freddy Coughlin played his debut today and showed some real class especially i thought from a midfield perspective, and he had some good shots on goal,he makes some very precise and tidy passes. Oli Bates earned man of the match and that was given despite bagging a goal which i very rarely do, if Oli can produce a form like that week in week out he will as his confidence grows become a game changer.

Ross and Frankie also bagged a goal each.

We took an early lead which i think threw us today in a strange way, Guy and Ben were able to shut out some early challenges but the small pitch, i think made it so they were bearing down on us and attacking on goal before we knew it.

They were very good at some types of play if you noticed they would from around the halfway mark either punt in a long ball or do an overhead kick and have 2-3 players run at it and this paid off agianst us when we lost our confidence.

We went 1 up through Oli B he took on 2 players in the box and slotted home for a very well taken goal. we attacked and had quite a few chances until eventually Frankie slotted one home 2-0 to us then from knowhere they pulled one back Half time and Ross put us back to 3-1 OK we thought back to comfort but that was not to be and they scored another 3.

one of their goals was a clear offside in my opinion but this happens (but there were 3 offside), then Ben thought the ball had gone out of play and let it go only for them to knock it in and the ref blew for it, its not like Ben to do that and so i think the ref missed it but i couldnt see it from where i was either and he is only human.

We need to take stock and learn from it, we need to do better against the weaker teams we played well against stronger sides (Killer instinct) like Cop and Brooklyn we can beat any team on our day but today was not ours
