Match report	Firstly, well done to all 12 players who made it to Strensall for 8.40 this morning. With 10 players absent there was an opportunity for other players to shine and that was certainly true in the Lions team. Andrew, Archie, Emma, Felix, Jake and Oscar all played their part in two exciting games of football. In this match we went 2-0 down, but clawed it back to 2-2 with Andrew setting up Archie for two very well taken goals. At the other end of the pitch, Jake had a stormer in goal, stopping everything that came his way. Oscar also put in a number of vital defensive challenges and looked lively. We would have done even better had we remembered more of our training session work: Where to stand when defending, throwing in down the line (and quickly) and closing down attackers with the ball would all have helped us to achieve an even better result.
