| Match report | It was Wiggington this morning bottom of the table and no points. I had decided to use this game to give everyone a game and move a few people around positionaly wise. As soon as they turned up i was begining to backtrack on my thoughts as at least two of their boys looked about 16, same old story give it to the big lads, only thing is we usually strugle against this. I stuck to my guns and as we had already guessed the two big lads played in the middle of mid-field and tried to control the game. This wasn't the look of a side that had been getting beat by cricket scores. We did struggle down the centre at first but as we got closer and closed down the big lads we began to control the game and a great goal by Matty from a tight angle relaxed us. We soon went two up with another from Matty, a more typical type through ball, opening up the defence. From then on we controled the game , making plenty of changes did upset our rthym at times but we never looked as though we were going to run away with the game. We also did our usuual of throwing away our chance of a clean sheet, another week goes by and it feels like it will never happen, somthing we have to put right. This felt like a game we were just glad to get over and not a chance of showing what we could do, I think we went into the game thinking it was going to be easy and maybe we wern't up for it as usual. |
