| Match report | The team battled really well today in cold, wet and muddy conditions. Every team member played their part in achieving this win against a Rufforth team that hadn't lost a match since Christmas. Particularly strong performances came from George and Damian in midfield and Oscar and Emma in defence. Thomas joined the Lions today and also played very well. Our goal came from Henry who converted a penalty he won with a strong attacking run. Based on her performance in both matches today and her positive attitude whenever she plays, Emma was my Player of the Day today. |
