Match report   These may have been an under 15 squad, but we knew from the offset when they came out looking like Man utd that there may be more to them than met the eye and there may be good reason they were playing in a under 16 tournament.

However we cam out all guns blazing for the first 25 mins and i thought we were going to muller them.

Cam thompson was tearing down the left side and peppering thier goal. he quickly bagged one too 1-0 to us, the back four took on a different shape today with Scott taking centre back position with Ben, Will on Left and Frankie R.

This offered Guy a centre mifeild position with Luke and Oli C L and Freddie R.

With David and Cam up front, it was a 3 G pitch which was 4 yards too small so Daivd and Luke were struggling to get any space to do their magic however we were the better team from the early off

And Guy Cowley bagged a goa from his midfield debut 2-0 although at this point they were starting to find their shape an composure when we got a free kick, Guy saw some unsual space and went running and pointing where to put it and then put ina fantastic overhead kick 3-0, we were delighted but the score line was starting to flatter us somewhat as Springhead were reeally staring to come at us and in particualr there blonde headed striker was running our defence ragged.

However Billy was on fire in goal and kept thwarting them, we had our chance but we were starting to flag in the heat and the speed of the ball on the 3 G was causing us problems.

And Springhead who are used to the surface were capitalising on it not only for its size but is passing movement too.

Eventually they bagged a goal 3-1 and quickly another 3-2.

Halftime and we kept it the same Oli D and Oli B had come on on the wings to inject fresh legs, but springhead had a spring in their step and despit more exilirating acrobatics from Billy to keep them out they eventually got it level, we pulled David back into defence and that took some of the sting out of the sprighead attack.

they went 4-3 up then 5-3 up we were losing our cool and evetually gave up on it but they were a very srong team and on the day they beat us.

They seemed a nice team with 1 exception.
