Match report	The early stages of the game saw both sides evenly matched with the majority of the possession contained in the middle of the pitch, until the game sparked in to life with a great through ball from Jacob releasing Joseph though on goal, only for the tricky forward to lose his footing at the vital moment and the chance was gone. Against the run of play York RI took the lead, when Fulford, pushing up and looking for the opening goal of the game, were caught on the counter attack with the York RI no4 slotting home from close range. However, the 2 sides went in at the break level, with some nice football found Jacob on the left side of the York RI goal, whose cross come shot took a deflection and flew in at the near post. 1-1 at half time. Unfortunately Fulford could not build on this, and straight from the restart York RI regained the lead, when some confusion in the Fulford boys defence, saw the York RI attacker score unopposed to take a 2-1 lead. Fulford boys continued to press to get the equaliser and Jacob went close with a wonder run, only to be denied with a last ditch tackle when he seemed destined to score. Despite the pressure York RI scored a 3rd with an individual effort which started from inside the York RI half. Final score 1-3.
