| Match report | Fulford may have registed their first ever double-figures win in competitive football, but it was Brooklyn who started the game very positively and opened the scoring from a corner in the 2nd minute, when it deflected in off a Fulford player. Fulford equalised 5 minutes later when Isaac ran on to a through ball and lifted the ball over the advancing keeper, and then tapped the ball into an empty net. Isaac added a second when he hit a 25 yard free-kick into the far corner of the net. Isaac then completed a superb 12-minute hat trick when he ran from deep on to a through ball from James, a Fulford striker was in an off side position, but the referee recognised that he was not active in play and Isaac ran through to score with a well placed finish past the keeper. Fulford's 4th came from Frankie with a cool finish from 10 yards. Joe C completed the first-half scoring with a good run and finish from the inside left position. Will got the 6th with a powerful run and lofted finish from the right hand falank of the area. Brooklyn pulled a goal back mid way through the second half. Fulford's 7th goal was the goal of the game. Joe C won the ball in defence near our left hand corner flag. He ran forward and played a lofted pass to James in centre midfield, who pulled the ball down with a lovely touch. He passed it through to Frankie, who then played a defence splitting pass that was worthy of the Premier League through to Will, who had just beat the offside trap, and ran through to finish in the bottom left hand corner. Ross got the 8th when he checked on to his right foot and lobbed it over the keeper. Tom H scored the 9th with a powerful shot over the keeper's head and Will T added the 10th late on to complete his hat-trick. Tom G won man of the match for some great play in both midfield and defence. |
