| Match report | Fulford's last four matches versus Easingwold have been tight encounters and have only produced a total of 5 goals, but this game was reminiscent of the November 2009 - 7 goal thriller between the two sides. Easingwold had the better of the opening stages and went one nil up. Fulford equalised thanks to a 25 yard strike from Harrison that went into the roof of the net. Easingwold as always were very dangerous on the counter attack and were quickly springing from defence into attack and went 2-1 up from one such excellent move. However Fulford soon equalised through Will T. It was Easingwold who were ahead at the break, thanks to another well worked goal. In the second half Fulford's growing dominance of the midfield started to pay dividends. They equalised for a third time thanks to a good finish from Isaac. Will T added a fourth and Ross scored the fifth with a well taken finish past the Easingwold keeper. Will T then scored the sixth to complete an excellent hat-trick, following an excellent defence splitting pass from Ollie. It was a great result for Fulford and they showed great character to come back on three occasions and kept playing football the right way throughout the match. Man of the Match was Harrison for an excellent game in the holding midfield role, as he was always always available to link play and change the direction of the attacks. |
