Match report	A chilly, early start for everybody this morning at Dunnington, but the Tigers warmed up the spectators with some festive football! Right from the word go the team was playing with a lot of skill and control, linking up all over the field with neat passing and excellent movement. So it came as a bit of a surprise when a miss-kick from a Dunnington player outside the goal area looped up and beyond Emma’s reach into the top corner of the net after only a few minutes of the game. The goal had come right out of the blue, but the Tigers picked themselves up and carried on with the same confident team football, and dominated most of the play. After half time we continued to press forwards. But Dunnington were playing better too, and they put our defence under a lot of pressure at times as they counter-attacked in numbers. On a few occasions they beat the defence as one or two of the Tigers were slow getting back into position, and it took some great saves from Emma to keep them out. Even so, it remained the Tigers’ passing and energy that dominated, and chance after chance was created as we stretched the Dunnington defence. Numerous shots went close or were saved by their goalie, but in the end we just couldn’t get the ball in the net – so it stayed at 1-0 to Dunnington.
