Match report   After a lengthy break from first team footy a below par 'Ford tumbled out of the Junior cup after conceding three first half goals to an Osbaldwick side high on confidence after winning their last 3 games.

On a sunny afternoon Osbaldwick started brightly and 'Ford take a while to get into any rhythm. That said Osso only took the lead after a spell of Ford pressure; a free kick on the 'Ford left found the lively Osso no. 11 who beat an unsighted Arran from 12 yards through a crowd of players. If that wasnt bad enough a similar free kick from the other flank saw the same player nip infront of the Ford defender to flick the ball home from close range. The damage was completed when Osso made it three just before HT with a far post header beating the Ford defence and goalie.

A HT rollicking and same early substitutions nearly paid dividends with two goal-line clearances by Osso in the first 5 mins of the second half keeping the score at 3-0 which is how it stayed to the bitter end.

Back to league footy next week and 'Ford need to get back to winning ways in the push for promotion which will be secured with 2 wins from the last 4 games...
