Match report   Getting to the sharp end now and pressure building as two wins from 4 sees Ford up....so going one down after 15 secs wasnt exactly in the script. A slip in defence and a speculative lob saw Selby take the lead almost before we'd got off the bus. A bobbly pitch did nothing for Ford's football and a frustrating half came to a close with Ford still behind despite a couple of chances to score.

A much improved second half saw Selby camped in their own half, lumping the ball downfield whenever they could to relieve the increasing Ford pressure. Long range efforts came to nought and the frustration built as the final ten minutes came.

Then a breakthrough as the imperious Jamie H danced his way into the box through a crowd of defenders and was felled as he broke towards the keeper. Selby protested but the penalty was dispatched by Sam Harro to level the scores.

The drama was not over though as the returning Heathy was brought down a foot inside the box, only for the ref to award a free kick on the edge, which unfortunately came to nought.

So 2 pts lost but 1 pt gained; depends whether you're a glass half full person! The final twist of the day came as the results from around the grounds came in....F1 drawing and Rufforth getting beat leaves us needing two points from 3 games to gain promotion.

Its been a rollercoaster at times and there could be a twist or two to come so keep tuned in for the next instalement - 31st March v Civil Service. Get yourselves there...;-)
