Match report	Another even game that we managed to end up losing. Rufforth opened the scoring with a great shot that Jake had no chance with - top corner etc. Andrew pulled one back before half time with a strong shot. In the second half we went 2-1 down, but pulled a goal back through Damian. It looked like we were heading for a valuable point, but we failed to clear the ball from our area and conceded a scrappy goal. We need to work on our awareness and positioning - too often we had people out of position or watching the ball and failing to mark players. Our match stats tell the story - we can score goals, but we've also conceded more than any other team in the top league. We'll need to be on top form next week against Pickering. This is a vital match if we want a chance of staying in the top league for next season. Player of the Match for me today was Ethan who has fitted in well since he joined us earlier this year. He is level headed and conscientious. He played solidly in defence today and made some exciting runs as striker in game 2.
