Match report	Our first clean sheet of the season and all due to top quality, disciplined performance. Each player knew exactly what was expected of them and they all stuck to their tasks and, most importantly their positions. Our back line of Alfie, Andrew and Simeon snuffed out Pickering's forays forward and Luke and Alfie's goal kicks ensured we were soon back in Pickering territory. We scored at regular intervals during the first half, with Henry (2) and Damian finding the back of the net. Damian intercepted many Pickering goal kicks throughout the match and this midfield supremacy made a real difference. As Pickering wised up to our attacking threat, chances were fewer in the second half, but this was a match we were always well in control of and should give us great confidence for our last match of the season. This really was a team effort and highlighting one individual as Player of the Match would not be appropriate. Instead, the whole Lions squad earned the PotM award today. We also need to spare a thought for poor Ethan who had a fall at training on Friday and discovered on Saturday that he has broken his arm. Get well soon Ethan, we want you back for tournaments!
