Match report	A winning start for the new look Fulford team lead by the impressive Jezne. Poppleton took the lead early with their striker slotting in past debutant goalkeeper Kirstin who showed great handling skills throughout the game. It wasn't long before Fulford got going and some good passing lead to Jane's equaliser as she stroked the ball into the corner of the net from the edge of the box. Jane then made it 2-1 at the break after some nice build up play. A dominant second half display by the central defensive pairing of Rosie and Emma F restricted Poppleton to one shot on goal and some nice play from Emma H launched Fulford forward including a great run. Lucy had an excellent game on the right wing and it was a fantastic run and cross that set up Jez to volley home with her left foot from close range to make it 3-1. Poppleton then pulled it back to 3-2 after a goal mouth scramble with a minute to go. An excellent run & shot saw girl of the game Jane score across the keeper to make it 4-2 and complete her hatrick and see Fulford to a well deserved victory.
