| Match report | The second game saw a few changes with Henry and Andrew playing a half in goal each, both making crucial saves. The team kept up the passing and moving way that they have now adapted very well however went 1-0 down to a great goal from Copmanthorpe. Damian immediately reduced the arrears with a fine shot. This was an end to end game and Copmanthorpe scored again to go 2-1 up however Fulford fought for the case and Ethan hit a superb shot into the bottom corner just before half time to equalise. Ethan’s confidence was on a high today and it showed with some fine passing spreading the ball wide and every opportunity with a few great through balls. Damien hit the crossbar with a brilliant shot but the ball did not want to go in. Jordan, Alfie and Andrew came on at half time and Fulford looked strong and were very unlucky not to win the game after missing a few chances near the end however a draw was a fair result. A change was made today where we used roll on/roll off substitutions and it showed that we do not lose the flow of the game by making wholesale changes ie making single changes little and often. The game ended 2-2 with every player on the pitch showing how much improvement has been made in the squad. Ethan was selected as MoM for his intelligent passing and well executed equaliser. Very much a confidence player he should use this game to build on and all the squad should realise they are all very much talented players and use this to be confident in their abilities to build on today’s results.
