Match report	A significantly improved performance, following a strong team talk at the end of the first match! Jordan and Thomas took the wide midfield roles, with Henry up front. We played a more simple style of passing football which worked better and allowed us to create more chances. Jordan worked hard for the team and got into good positions and made some good accurate passes. Thomas was always available and was rewarded with a well taken equaliser after Rufforth had gone in 1-0 up at half time. Henry got into space and played some intelligent square balls to set up chances for others. Alfie was a giant in his holding midfield role, winning plenty of tackles, beating players and distributing intelligently. Our defenders were more resilient in this game and we were unlucky not to win it late on. Charlie has swapped with Jake for the second half of the season and he produced some fine saves in the second game, using his hands wherever possible. An encouraging finish. We need to take the improved discipline and commitment into our next match. Alfie was my Man of the Match for putting in a real shift in three halves of football.
