Match report	Fulford Under 8s first game of the season was at Rawcliffe, as they had very kindly agreed to switch venues, as our new home ground was unavailable due to cricket. Fulford started well and dominated possession but looked a little rusty in front of goal as they failed to take any of the chances that were created. Rawcliffe always looked dangerous on the counter-attack but were denied by some good goalkeeping from Joe. In the second half Rawcliffe started brightly and nearly went ahead, but Harle pulled off a great save to turn the ball wide for a corner. However, Rawcliffe went on to score two quick goals on the counter attack. With five minutes to go, Fulford pulled a goal back when some good build up play from Luca and Jonathan led to Airan crossing for Freddie to score at the back post. Fulford were now on their game and soon equalized when Luca found Paul who burst through into the box and scored with a hard low strike into the bottom right corner. With 2 minutes to go Paul went on to score the winner when he controlled the ball just outside the box and hit a powerful right-footed strike into the far corner.
