Match report	Fulford travelled to top of the table York RI for the first meeting of the season after a couple of cancellations with only three points separating the teams before kick off. Fulford started the game well with some good passing and ball possession. The defence of RI held firm and looked very strong and restricted Fulford to nothing more than a few shots from long range. RI forced a few corners themselves and some excellent deliveries caused a few problems in the Fulford defence but on the whole Emma F & Beth were excellent throughout. The half time whistle blew with the teams locked at 0:0. Fulford kicked off the second half with Lucy D switched from the right wing to the left and she was a constant threat going forward. The desire of Elisha and Issie to win the first ball in midfield set up many attacks but it looked as if the defences would hold strong. With time running out the ball broke to Lucy D who had drifted in from the left wing and from just outside the box placed an accurate shot in to the right hand bottom corner of the net. There was time for RI to have a chance late on from a corner but Holly made a good save at the near post. The whistle blew to confirm the Fulford victory which brings the teams level on points at the top of the league and an exiting finish to the league season in prospect.
