| Match report | The Vikings were shocked to go one nil down after a couple of minutes to a speculative toe bunger from outside the box. Annabel and Jordan worked very hard to clear their lines and made some great tackles with a memorable goal bound block by Annabel. Adi made a magnificent save to deny Poppleton but shortly after that the Tigers roared into a two nil lead from a well taken free kick. It wasn't looking good for the Vikings but their heads didn't drop and Harry and Cameron came deeper into their own half to build attacks. From one of these, the battling Harry fed Cameron who scored a nice goal to put the Vikings back in the match at half time, two one down. The second half saw Cameron in goal, Annabel remaining in defence partnered by Harry, and Alex and Reuben in attack. Annabel and Harry were brilliant in defence and provided Reuben and Alex with constant passes to run onto. One of these led to Reuben going on a great run before passing to Alex who was fouled just inside the box. The excellent referee cleverly let play continue and Alex scored from close range bringing the score back to two all with five minutes to go. The Vikings then went for the kill and Harry and Reuben both had a couple of half chances before Alex ran onto another great pass from Annabel to score the winner meaning her dad has hopefully been forgiven for not buying his wife a coffee.
