| Match report | Fulford took control of the game from the outset with Oliver and Annabel causing the Haxby defence a host of problems and Cameron and Alex in defence limiting the Haxby forward line to the occasional speculative effort. Alex opened the scoring for Fulford ably assisted by Oliver's great pass. Despite Fulford's dominance the half time break was reached without any further score. The second half continued in a similar vein with Clem now controlling things at the back William in goal barely touched the ball, whilst up front Oliver and Tilly kept the Haxby defence at full stretch, the second Fulford goal came following some brilliant work from Tilly, after winning the ball out on the wing she looked up and delivered a great ball to Oliver who fired the ball into the goal. A superb individual effort from Oliver completed the scoring, having picked up the ball on the halfway line he set off on a spectacular run shrugging off numerous challenges before stroking the ball past a helpless Haxby keeper. Player of the match: Clem - A brilliant performance in defence, judging perfectly just when to push forward. |
