| Match report | A great finish to the season with a super performance and win. Reuben in goal for the first half, Euan, Alex and Harry in defence, Isobel and Adi in midfield with Jordan up front. Fulford started off strong again, keeping their positions well and finding some great passes. Isobel was on fire this half getting in some very important tackles and also some good runs, one which paid off as she played a super ball through to Alex who finished neatly 1-0. Strensall soon responded with a rare attack, Harry mistimed his tackle and Strensall had a penalty. Reuben couldn't stop the shot and it was 1-1. Our Player of the Match Adi then took the ball from Fulford's half and zoomed down the left wing with the ball, cut in and fired in a great individual goal 2-1 at half time. Oliver went in goal for the second half with Daniel in defence. Alex went up front, gave 100% with lots of great runs and put the game out of reach with two well taken goals 4-1. Strensall pulled one back late on but it was all over. A great effort all-round and super win! Adi was Player of the Match with great passing, running, dribbling and a top drawer goal!! |
