Match report	A closely fought game on an increasingly muddy pitch. Both teams in the first half had chances to score but the Vikings defence stood strong with Cameron in goal. 0-0 at half time the Vikings carried on in the second half with a bit more purpose. Tilly finally broke the deadlock with a fantastic weaving move down the left, beating two Bishopthorpe players, and then a super pass to Adi who gladly scored. The Vikings didn't sit back knowing the game was far from over. Oliver made a charge through the midfield, his silky skills forcing a foul as the Bishopthorpe player caught his ankle. Adi stepped up to take the free kick and fired it at the goal. Freddie was quick to pounce as the goalie spilled it - 2-0. Still the Viking pushed for another and were nearly caught napping at the back but for Cameron forcing the ball for a corner. The Vikings finally sealed the win with another driving run from our Player of the Match Tilly who picked another great pass to Freddie who happily bagged his second. 3-0 it finished, a clean sheet from Cameron and a fantastic team performance
