| Match report | With Eddie and Annabel ably stepping in for Alex, Arthur and Harrison it was a much changed Ebors side that hosted Brooklyn, but they soon brushed aside any thoughts that the change round would adversely affect the side as Jack opened the scoring following a great midfield move. Brooklyn quickly hit back to level the game before some quick feet from William smuggled the ball through a packed penalty area to make it 2 - 1. Some more fancy foot work saw William make it 3 - 1 and with seconds remaining to halftime Fulford were awarded a free kick on the edge of the box. Instead of shooting William squared to Harry who's fierce shot could only be parried by the keeper to a grateful Henry who made no mistake with a sharp finish. The second half saw Brooklyn mount a spirited comeback scoring 2 goals and forcing Euan into a brilliant match saving stop but despite the pressure Ebors manged to hold onto the lead and keep up their wonderful run. Player of the match: Euan - A brilliant all round performance, great distribution throughout with some high class saves and one fantastic save low at his near post which ensured the eventual Ebors victory. |
