| Match report | Our final league game of the season saw two evenly matched sides contest what turned out to be an outstanding game for the spectators. Dunnington were first to score but Fulford were quickly on level terms through Harrison's pin point finish, both sides then traded a host of chances only to find both keepers on top form. It was Dunnington who were first to convert one of their chances but their lead was again short lived as Harry fired into the roof of the net from close range to make it 2-2 at halftime. The end to end football continued in the second half as both teams pushed hard for a goal and this time it was Fulford who took the lead as Arthur powered in a hammer strike to make it 2-3 to Fulford. With the game ebbing away Dunnington forced a late corner, the Fulford defence scrambled to clear from the initial put in only to see their clearance fall to the feet of the Dunnington forward who volleyed brilliantly into the back of the net to ensure an enthralling contest finished all square at 3 - 3. Player of the match: Cameron - A great display in goal confident through out with some brilliant handling and a few crucial saves. |
