Match report   Oh the sweet taste of victory its been a long time coming but when it came it was good, Oliver tells me i was embarrassing on the line this week, i didnt notice but do recall i was proberbly more vocal this week combined with been ecstatic over the lead we were taking this manifested itself in hysteria i guess, so i apologise if i seemed insane.

The first half went OK but the lads were just laying off going for broke, there were some chances for us but we didnt take them, frustration was creeping in to some of them although as a coaching team we knew we had the wind (more tea vicar) in the second half excuse the pun.

but essentially at half time 0-0 was proberbly a fair score for both sides.

Seth had got a lot of the ball on the right and was making play down the wing but we were just not clinical to finish. Chris and Aaron were runnning midfeild and we tinkered about with things to try and get something before half time.

The second half saw us turn to the original formation Seth had to go so james Gonclaves went into r side of midfeild Chris went into centre of midfeild again and Oli C back on the left wing.

Straight away we went for it in the second half and Chris picked the ball up in the area beat a player, although the ball spilled out wide he chased it kept it in passed it across goal for Oli C to knock home 1-0, the back four were great in the second half again being supported by David T and Ben was up for anything, today was to be our first clean sheet, which i akcnowledge i kept shouting clean sheet at Ben, but he certainly kept it today with a fantastic and acrobatic performance.

James Gonclaves then found himself through on goal and scored a great one, The back four were dominating things Brooklyn did threaten us on occasions but on the whole things were pretty safe with Ben in the sitcks and David behind them, Cameron T made some great passes up front Ross Macleod on at Right back also made some good balls on the right and kept a tight reign on things. frankie and Guy in the middle were solid with david Mopping up.
Scott had come on in the centre of defence a position he hasnt played in much this year, and his heading and control of things was fantastic "Scotts ball" very assertive stuff from him and everything he called he got to no mistakes.

With out tails up now another ball through from Cameron ended up with George and Boosh 3-0 another good goal.

Oli B had gone on left wing for a bit then moved up front he was starting to get stuck in and was causing some real problems he nearly headed home he made an attack on goal, the ball was blocked but dropped to Arron who still had a bit to do he beat a defender and slotted home number 4, we were going at them again and again and we wanted to score again Oli B nearly did Chris was having a bash, then David T picked up the ball somewhere near 35 yards out there was a lot to do he beat one then two then three then 4 then the goalie and we were 5-0 up, he is so vital to us and can play anywhere, he has played in a defensive role for some weeks now but is still knocking in goals.

as alway Man of the match could have gone to any number of players, Ben for his clean sheet, Arron or chris for dominating midfeild, Seth or james for reading the game. david for been calm and assured in pressure situations. But today for his calling and heading of the ball it goes to Scott Goncalves well done.

Today was special because we have played some good games of football without the victory so to win comprehensivley was great to do but also the clean sheet is signifcant.

It was also great to see Will today thanks for coming and we hope you are fit to play for us again before the end of the season
