| Match report | The score did not refelct the result, we were unlucky today injury was playing its part bad ankles seems to be the trend at present. Having said that the lads played really well and Cop are a decent side, but they are not better than us we gave them too much respect, our team are nice lads and we do tend to bow to players we think are better than us. We did this yesterday the goalie and the number 5 and 7 were thier main men, but our heads went down on a number of occasions during the game yet we kept coming back into it that should tell us something. If you analyse the gam then Cop had two goals that were clearly offside and one goal from a corner that was not a corner. three bad calls made the difference to this game, but i think if our heads stayed up it could and should have been a win to us or a draw at least. We opened the scoring through a goal mouth scramble and Oli Bates eventually sent it in, they put one in and then guy made it 2-1 through a wonder goal Beckham would of being proud of. They pulled level 2-2 then pulled away 4-2 this was a large part of the game where our heads dropped. But we pulled level agian through George who banged in 2 goals 4-4 then they pulled one more in front from a corner that should never have been. and we dropped again we did have a late surge but the damage was done, we can take a lot from this game, one is never give up thats why Man utd are so good they playe right to the last second of a game and have pulled back so many times. MOM goes to Ben Bailey for a dazzling display in midfield he shckeld the 7 and struck the ball really well. lots of others deserve a mention David as always exceptional, Ross in goal William, George and Scott all played really well. |
