Match report   The first half was fairly evenly matched. Fulford forced a number of corners and Frankie had a long range shot that went just wide. Haxby had a good chance of their own, but were denied by a great cover tackle by Harrison. The game really took off after half-time. Early in the second half, Will was brought down on the edge of the box to earn Fulford a free kick. Haxby lined up a wall and the keeper covered the far corner. Just as the goalkeeper took half a step behind his wall, Joe C powered home a direct free kick into the corner where the keeper had been just a second before. There was a very good flow to the game that was being very well reffed by 14 year old ref, Lewis Aubrey. Haxby hit back with 5 mins to go. They built up a good move down the left, and just in from the touchline and about 20 yards out, the Haxby midfielder cut in on his right foot and unleashed an unstoppable shot into the right hand top corner. Fulford were keen to grab a winner and nearly went ahead following a length of the field run by Tom G and a shot from Joe C that was well saved by the Haxby keeper. Then in the dying seconds of normal time Joe C picked up the ball just inside his own half. He beat 2 opponents and then shot from 18 yards. The ball went in off the left hand post despite a full length dive from the Haxby keeper. The Fulford players went crazy in celebration!! However they then had to defend the 2 mins of injury time, to clinch the win in what was a very entertaining game, that was a great advert for Under 10s football in York
