| Match report | An extremely slow start by fulford lead to a vast amount of pressure from copmanthorpe straight from kick-off, but it was fulford who had the best change to score first, a long ball over the top which jack dagwell latched on to, he fluffed the first attempt, but the ball sat up kindly for him and he produced a quality save from the goal keeper. Copmanthorpe's pressure finally paid off however, fulford failed to deal with a long throw in, chris morris pulled off a great save to deny the first attempt but the ball fell kindy to their striker, and he just poked the ball into the net. it wasnt till late into the first half when fulford finally came to life, neat football down the left hand side produced a great cross from ollie souter which wasn't dealt with, and josh boultwood-neale headed home the equalizer. but less than a minute later, copmanthorpe where ahead again. further damge was done when cop went 3-1 up, the score line showed just how poor fulford where during the first half. during the second half, fulford started to come into their own, a duration of pressure finally pulled off a great ball from liam hancy to the back post was well finished by ollie souter. but yet again copmanthorpe extended their lead short after conceding, a lapse in concentration let copmanthorpe in again to score, even with a hint of offside. fulford pulled a goal back late on in the match, a well placed head from ed gibb from a liam hancy corner. fulford then piled on the pressure, a jack dagwell freekick grazed the crossbar late on. a poor perfomance in all after such a good performance last week. |
