Match report	Haxby are probably one of the best U8s teams in york - ( along with Fulford !!) so we knew that this was going to be a close match. We were brilliant - although we lost the match our efforts on the pitch were superb and we should be very proud. Haxby got on the scoresheet very early and soon were two up. We battled well in midfield and defence and soon got back into the match. This great efffort culminating in Isaac pulling a goal back just on half time - with a power shot from the right hand edge of the box. We kept the pressure on Haxby in the second half with some superb play from Samuel P, Samuel O, Finlay, Max, Scott & John. Jays turn in goal was outstanding and he made some great last gasp saves to keep us in the game. Haxby edged us in this match but it was very exciting to watch.
