Match report   A cup match yet again. We tried a different formation today as in the last two weeks against woodthorpe they played with five in mid-field and outnumbered us. We have also conceded 10 goals against them so we needed to stop leaking goals.
When you play with one up front you have to play through the midfield so to give time to get forward. We didn't do this and far two many times kept knocking the ball long it was always going to come back.
The plus side was that Joe Metcalf and Dan played the ball out well down the left side in the first half. But apart from this we kept hammering the ball forwards instead of keeping it.
The second half wasn't much better as we seemed reluctant to get the ball down and play, but when we went to three goals down for the last ten mins of game we started to play and created a number of chances, which their keeper kept out . Josh did really well in the second half when he came on getting up and down and playing quick ball. Jake played simple balls and also kept the ball moving and Pip started to get his crosses in and caused trouble.
The last ten minutes gives us hope and we need to play like that more consistantly.
